Padel
Padel is a racket sport, a hybrid of tennis and squash: played in pairs on an enclosed court smaller than a tennis court, surrounded by glass and mesh walls off which the ball can rebound into play.
In detail
Padel is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world over the past decade, including in Georgia and across the Caucasus, where the number of indoor courts has grown noticeably. The game is almost always doubles (singles, 1×1, is practically never seen), and the walls are not an obstacle but part of the tactics: a shot can be played back after bouncing off the back wall.
How to use it
Beginners should start by learning to play off the wall — this is the key tactical difference between padel and tennis, and understanding rebounds shapes most of the game strategy.
