GRW's vineyards lie near Kvareli, in the foothills of the Greater Caucasus.
Kakheti is the heart of Georgian wine culture. Its long growing season and distinctive local grape varieties give winemakers a rich palette to work with.
The winery brings together contemporary equipment and the know-how passed down through the Karalashvili family. Its range includes classic Georgian wines as well as qvevri wine.

A qvevri is a clay vessel traditionally buried in the ground for fermenting and storing wine.
The ancient Georgian qvevri method is recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. GRW's collection includes Kisi Qvevri alongside its other red and white wines.
